Growing up as the child of hardworking immigrants, he learned the value of perseverance, service, and standing up for what is right—principles that have guided him throughout his career. His time in public safety allowed him to work directly with the people of Yonkers, addressing their concerns and ensuring that their voices were heard.

Even after retiring from the police department, Dean’s passion for service never wavered. The desire to do good and make a difference in his community continues to drive him, leading him to take the next step in public service. As a candidate for Yonkers City Council President, he is determined to bring strong leadership, transparency, and a results-driven approach to city government. His background and experience has given him firsthand knowledge of the challenges facing Yonkers, from public safety to fiscal responsibility, and he is ready to tackle these issues head-on.
